***God Inhabits the Praises of His People***
We live in a world that produces its own types of music; music which sometimes jars our senses, splits our eardrums and describes scenarios of life’s worst conditions….drugs, immorality…..all types of lyrics that can lead one to fear, guilt, depression, even suicide.
God’s Word contains multiple songs of praises to God, songs which honor and glorify Him and His ways, promises of love and mercy, which fill us with comfort, love and peace. Even the angels sing songs of praise and glory to God on High.
Psalm 22:3 Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. God inhabits the praises of His people. Inhabit means to abide, dwell, live in us when we pray and worship our God.
Rev. 5:11-13 Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus……..vs 13 and then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: “Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever”.
Praise is always going on in heaven…..even creation praises God. It means that God is in the midst of our praises when we are truly worshiping Him. When we are lifting our hearts and hands to Him, He is reaching out to us revealing His presence to us more intensely.
Have you ever been singing, praising and worshiping and actually felt the Holy Spirit stirring inside you? He makes our spirit come alive and fills us with His powerful love, comfort, peace and REAL JOY.
Zeph 3:10 He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love and He will rejoice over you with singing.
In the midst of life’s trials and problems, praise Him….in every situation praise Him, for HE IS WITH US…..ALWAYS and FOREVER.
Psalm 19:1 He is worthy to be praised.
When problems and trials come upon you, sing the gospel, praise our GOD. Know He is with you………and SEE your KING work in your behalf.
